A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and effective medical secretary service to the consultants and medical team and clerical support to the clinical services. They will undertake day to day supervision of band 2 staff and liaise with the Administration Lead to ensure that high standards of data quality are achieved and maintained to ensure clinical practitioners are proactively supported with service delivery.
• Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of services with the Care Group.
• Provide line management to identified Band 2 Administration Assistants including supervision and PDR.
• Assist with the induction of new members of administration staff.
• To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, service users, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies.
• Provide and receive routine information to work colleagues and clients. Exchange information with clients requiring tact and diplomacy.
• Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so whilst working as an effective and responsible senior team member.
