Full training apprenticeship will be provided for any successful trainee candidate.
Apprenticeship wage £12.71. Increase applied on qualifying, post qualifications and role. The hourswill be 22.25 hours worked over 3 days.
Salary will be prorated to agreed working hours.
The Job Role:
* Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
* Keep the clinical areas, equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers'instruction
* Use our mouth scanner to ensure our patient's are given the best experience and record these inpatient notes
* Prepare the necessary materials and instruments
* Meet and greet patients with a friendly and professional manner
* Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed on SOE Exact
* Continually interpret the needs of the patients and dentist and deal with them promptly andefficiently.
* Work within our Front of House team to provide excellent customer service
* Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort
* Follow all practice policies and procedures.
* Observe patient confidentiality at all times
* Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
* Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
* Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice – Reception cover whenrequired
* Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
* Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR decontamination and radiology
* Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
* Work at other practice locations from time to time as required
* Maintain GDC registration
* To maintain and increase competence in nursing skills by actively following a programme ofcontinuing professional development.
