Roles and Responsibilities
* You will manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients and, alongside the Senior team, prepare and review tax computations from the start of the compliance process to final delivery and billing.
* Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and business tax matters, providing technical analysis on tax treatments and the impact of new legislation on clients.
* Work with junior team members to delegate tasks efficiently, review their work, and foster their development.
* Opportunity to work on tax advisory projects such as R&D and Patent box claims, group reorganisations, and transactions.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Hold relevant professional qualifications such as ACA or CTA (or equivalent), or be on track to qualify by September 2025.
* Experience in corporate tax compliance is preferred, but candidates trained in other disciplines seeking a career in tax are also considered.
* Demonstrate technical tax knowledge and experience.
* Experience managing client financials and adjusting compliance approaches based on budgets.
* Ability to deliver excellent client service and develop long-term relationships.
This is a full-time position based out of our Manchester offices.
