Materials Documentation Controller
Exciting permanent opportunity based in the Port Talbot area, this role is fully onsite working 4 days per week Monday to Thursday (Friday being an non working day) Car parking at location. The Materials Documentation Engineer ensures that all products and services are fit for purpose and meet external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Control the analysis and logging of all material certification, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
2. Liaise with suppliers regarding incorrect, incomplete or unclear documentation, ensuring certificates are accurate and that any amended certificates are received within a reasonable time frame.
3. Compile and manage complete Customer Certification Packs, maintaining full 'cradle to grave' ownership of all materials and documentation.
4. Manage and control the certification records system across both electronic and hard copy formats.
5. Work closely with suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues in a timely manner and to improve processes affecting certification quality and pack construction.
