Application Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales required to join a leading global smart home and intelligent building automation provider, delivering integrated control solutions for lighting, climate, security, energy management, and more
The successful Application Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales will focus on supporting residential and light commercial automation projects, ensuring the seamless integration of systems such as lighting, alarms, and HVAC. This role will be integral to the continued growth of the technical team and will report directly to the Director of Building Automation Systems.
The ideal Application Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales will have the ability to effectively communicate with residential clients, light commercial customers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams. They will be capable of independently performing tasks both in an office setting and on-site, ensuring the smooth integration of automation systems.

Application Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Responsibilities:
* Lead project teams to support department and company goals, ensuring the successful integration of smart home and automation systems.
* Address and escalate project issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Estimate and manage the scope of automation projects, including system components and integrations.
* Coordinate and manage the necessary materials, resources, and manpower for assigned projects in home and light commercial automation.
* Provide accurate estimates for the costs of materials, equipment, and labor related to building automation systems.
* Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate project work and align schedules.
* Support sales efforts by assisting with client calls and providing technical insights on system integrations.
* Manage projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring seamless delivery of automation solutions.
* Facilitate and attend project meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and resolutions.
* Engage in relevant professional organizations and stay updated on trends in building automation and smart home technologies.
Application Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Requirements:
* At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in building automation, construction, or related systems.
* Experience with specific systems isn't mandatory, familiarity with automation, HVAC, or construction technologies is preferred.
* Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
* Ideal candidates will have a solid technical foundation and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
