Job Title: Events Executive - Contract until End of March 2026
Location: Burgess Hill
Salary: £16.41 - £18.49 per hour PAYE basic excluding holiday pay £21.77 - £24.30 UMB per hour (inside IR35)
Full Time: Full-time hybrid with 2 days in the office - plus site visits for arranging events.

Requirements:
As an Events Executive, you will play a key role in planning and delivering internal and external events that enhance the customer experience and strengthen brand presence. From small VIP visits to large-scale exhibitions and customer events, your work will directly contribute to business growth by creating engaging, memorable experiences. You will need a background in Events planning, hospitality, or client-facing roles as well as a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English).
Responsibilities:
As an Events Executive, you will play a key role in planning and delivering internal and external events that enhance the customer experience and strengthen brand presence. From small VIP visits to large-scale exhibitions and customer events, your work will directly contribute to business growth by creating engaging, memorable experiences.
Event Management & Execution:
Plan and deliver a wide range of events (6-600 attendees), including internal meetings, customer visits, exhibitions, and educational sessions
Manage the full event lifecycle: from enquiry and planning to on-site delivery and post-event reporting
Liaise with venues, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination
Oversee registration processes and delegate experience
Book travel and accommodation for attendees and speakers
Manage event budgets, raise POs, and track expenditures
Conduct risk assessments and manage health & safety compliance
Communications & Engagement:
Create and manage event registration pages and websites using Cvent
Work with the Marketing team to develop event campaigns and branded communications
Send pre-event communications, joining instructions, and reminders
Collect post-event feedback and deliver follow-up communications
Administration & Continuous Improvement:
Maintain and streamline internal event processes and documentation
Update trackers, CRM systems, and shared inboxes regularly
Design customer-facing materials in line with brand guidelines
Contribute to the development of the commercial and educational event portfolio
