Overview
We are looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to manage and develop an established region covering Shropshire, Staffordshire, Birmingham, West Midlands, Hertfordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Ideally, you will reside in the area and have sales experience in the construction sector.
Responsibilities
* Maintain strong relationships with a large distributor base, including Builders Merchants, specialist Stockists and end users.
* Engage key indirect customers such as Installers, House builders and Social Housing providers.
* Monitor competitor activity and work closely with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Customer Service and Technical.
* Support the team in a strong team environment with a ‘make it happen’ attitude.
Qualifications
* Experience selling in the Building Products market through distribution.
* Strong work ethic and desire to add value and win.
* Knowledge of the regional market and travel within the region.
* Good communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
Training
Full in‑depth product and company induction will be provided. Prior experience in distribution selling is a huge advantage.
