Vehicle Technician Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE + Uncapped Bonus Opportunities
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a professional, supportive, and family-oriented dealership environment. Key Responsibilities
* Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs across a range of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and general mechanical components
* Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards and workshop procedures
* Conduct vehicle road tests and customer demonstrations where required
* Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional maintenance requirements
* Communicate directly with customers when required, explaining faults, repairs, and recommended work in a professional manner
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
Candidate Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Minimum 2 years’ practical workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Previous experience within a Main Dealer environment preferred
* EV / Hybrid training desirable, although training and development can be provided
* MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
* Honest, reliable, and motivated to develop within a growing business
