Job Title: Junior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Norwich
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 + Benefits
I'm working with an established and rapidly growing acoustic consultancy that's looking to add a Junior Acoustic Consultant to its team in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career acoustics professional to build experience within a supportive and well-respected organisation.
You'll be involved in noise surveys, acoustic assessments, technical reporting, data analysis, and regular client interaction across a varied project portfolio throughout the East of England. The company offers strong progression, structured training, and full support toward achieving the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments
Prepare technical reports and noise impact assessments
Support acoustic modelling and data interpretation
Liaise with clients, planners, contractors, and local authorities
Assist senior consultants on larger, more complex projects
Contribute to bids, proposals, and wider business development
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar
2-5 years' experience in environmental/building acoustics
Strong communication and technical writing skills
Knowledge of BS4142, BS8233 and planning guidance
Motivation to complete (or currently studying for) the IOA Diploma
Full UK driving licence
