Customer Category Manager

Location: Market Drayton (Hybrid)
We are seeking a strategic and driven Customer Category Manager to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing sustainable category growth plans, building strong customer partnerships to enhance both the Category and Müller performance.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver customer category growth plans to foster trust and objective category views, building strong partnerships.
2. Lead the Range Review process for the customer base to achieve category growth and meet Müller’s range and sales ambitions.
3. Develop and implement the Category and Point of Purchase Vision, driving sales fundamentals and activation standards across all store formats and online platforms.
4. Maintain Müller as the primary point of contact for the customer base by establishing a clear external contact strategy.
5. Promote simple and effective cross-functional communication regarding category performance, NPD listing status, and insights.
6. Contribute strategically to business processes such as SBRs, account planning, and JBP.
7. Represent customer and category leadership as a Brand Champion, engaging cross-functionally to shape brand development.
8. Develop a coaching culture to support team relationships and skill development.
Key Requirements
1. Experience with Traditional Top 7 Retailers, including Private Label experience.
2. Proficiency with market and retailer data systems.
3. Inquisitive and analytical mindset to identify trends and insights from data.
4. Expertise in Category Development and Insights.
5. Creativity in data mining and storytelling to unlock growth opportunities.
6. Positive, proactive attitude with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
7. Confident and articulate communication style, adaptable to diverse audiences.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to see the big picture.
9. Strong advocate for the Müller brand, with an engaging communication style.
