United Infrastructure is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our expanding Responsive Repairs division. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a newly awarded contract, leading a high-performing operational and commercial team.
The Role
As our Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing a responsive repairs delivery model, managing both direct labour and a diverse supply chain. You'll ensure contract performance, drive efficiencies, and maintain excellent client relationships. Procurement and negotiation of subcontractor packages will also form a major part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a responsive repairs contract across East London and the Home Counties
* Oversee direct labour teams and supply chain partners
* Ensure strong commercial and operational performance
* Lead procurement and negotiate work packages
* Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
* Interrogate data to support performance and reporting
* Maintain excellent client engagement and service delivery
* Ensure best practice in Health & Safety
About You
* 5+ years' experience working for a maintenance or main contractor
* Proven leadership experience within repairs or maintenance
* Strong data analysis/interrogation skills
* Competent with Microsoft Project & Excel trackers
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong Health & Safety awareness
* Full UK driving licence
* SMSTS qualification
