Overview
My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their Team in Central London.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong academic background in Civil Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering) and have achieved or are working towards chartered status.
* Experience within a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and detailed Drainage designs using Infodrainage, Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.
* Experience mentoring team members and completing Flood Defence Schemes and Utility Designs (beneficial).
Responsibilities
* Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Projects.
* Railway, substation and below ground utility projects in the UK and overseas.
* Detailed Drainage designs using Microdrainage and Infodrainage.
* Surface Water Management Plans.
* Sewer, SuDS and Utility designs.
* Flood Risk Assessments.
* Flood Alleviation and Flood Defence Schemes.
* Manage projects and mentor team members.
* Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Government Bodies, Housing Developers and Business Associates to develop business opportunities.
Location and Team
You will join a bespoke team of Engineers based in Central London and you will complete varied projects spanning a variety of sector across railways, infrastructure, earthworks, substations, data centers and utilities.
