Tutor Location: Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire Start Date: March 2026 or sooner Contract: Flexible, Part-Time, Full-Time, Term Time Only Salary: £26 – £33 per hour GSL Education is looking for qualified Teachers, both Primary and Secondary, to deliver 1:1 tuition to students unable to access mainstream education. GSL Education has been supporting schools and local authorities to provide education to students who cannot access school, for over 5 years within the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull. As a Tutor, you will: Deliver personalised 1:1 lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs and ability. Plan and adapt engaging sessions in line with the national curriculum Support students with additional needs, including SEMH, SEND, or those out of school for medical reasons. Build positive, trusting relationships to re-engage students with learning. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents, schools and local authorities. Complete session reports and maintain accurate records of attendance and attainment. Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times. As the Ideal Tutor, you will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Have experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs. Be adaptable, patient and confident working independently. Have strong behaviour management and communication skills. Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
