Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineering Technician (Days) – Industry: Bottling – Contract Type: Permanent – Location: Irlam – Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 per annum – Working Pattern: Full-time (Days) 6am - 6pm – 4on 4off
Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Engineering Technician to join our client's team in Irlam. Our client is a leading bottling company in the industry, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on bottling machines and industrial equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner.
* Carry out repairs and replace faulty components as necessary.
* Complete preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimise machine performance.
* Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
* Keep accurate maintenance records and document any changes or updates made.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician in a bottling or industrial setting.
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex faults.
* Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating proactive and flexible approach.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary between £44,000 and £48,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent, full-time day shift role, providing stability and long-term career prospects.
