Occupational Health Advisor - Wrexham Job description Main Purpose of the Job; To provide professional health services, support the well-being of our workforce, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. Key Responsibilities; Health Surveillance: Conduct health assessments and screenings for employees, including pre-employment and periodic health checks. Monitor and manage the health surveillance program, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Health screening includes but is not limited to: Audiometry / Spirometry / Vision Screening / Skin Assessments / HAV’s / Forklift Truck Medicals / New Stater Screening / Drug & Alcohol Testing Injury and Illness Management: Provide immediate response and first aid for workplace injuries or illnesses. Collaborate with on-site medical facilities and external healthcare providers to manage more serious cases. Complete onsite flu immunisations. Health Promotion: Develop and implement health promotion initiatives, campaigns, and training programs to enhance employee well-being. Conduct educational sessions on topics such as nutrition, stress management, and overall health. Case Management: Manage occupational health cases, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
