Our client is seeking an experienced planner to join their project team in the North West. They are involved in heavy civil engineering construction works and have recently secured several framework wins. The company values long-term careers and has a low staff turnover. The Role
Your duties will include:
* Constructing and maintaining detailed programmes, including resource and cost loading
* Providing input on construction techniques and buildability
* Coordinating with project teams on programme aspects
* Managing short-term planning
* Owning the programme to ensure project delivery
* Communicating programme information, risks, and commercial issues
* Updating and monitoring project progress
* Analyzing changes in programmes and supporting commercial teams
* Evaluating supply chain and subcontract programmes
Candidate Requirements
* A qualification in civil engineering or construction to HND level or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in P6 software
