Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Hybrid, 2-3 days/ week in office in Buckinghamshire
About SunPower Co:
SunPower Co is at the forefront of renewable energy solutions, currently specializing in Rooftop Solar Development and B2B Power Supply. As we expand into other areas, including farm solar, battery storage, B2C services, and more, we seek a strategic and commercial-minded CFO to join our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage financial KPIs across all business lines.
• Lead deal review processes to ensure risk-adjusted profitability.
• Oversee back office processes, including tax, regulatory reporting, and control mechanisms.
• Engage with offshore finance teams to enhance business performance.
• Provide strategic financial insight to support company growth within the renewable power sector and beyond.
• Ensure credible financial reporting and advice to the CEO, CRO, Head of Commercial, and other industry veteran stakeholders.
• Prepare and present reports to shareholders and the board, reflecting clear and accurate financial positions.
• Navigate financial challenges in a PE-funded company environment to drive sustainable growth.
Key Qualifications:
• A robust UK finance qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW.
• Proven experience in a PE-funded growth company, preferably within the energy sector.
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and work effectively with commercial teams.
• Experience with renewable power and a strong understanding of the commercial aspects of the energy industry.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on diversity, inclusivity, and innovation.
