Overview
The School of Engineering at our Hemel Hempstead Campus are looking for a full time or part time lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding Engineering and Motor Vehicle learners excel within practical and theory environments.
Responsibilities
* Teach across Level 1 Automotive Engineering and Level 2/3 Motor Vehicle programmes.
* Deliver content through practical and theory teaching with industry knowledge.
* Work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills.
* Support learners of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant professional qualifications and experience in Motor Vehicle industry to teach across the Level 1 Automotive Engineering and Level 2/3 Motor Vehicle programmes.
* Enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
* Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential; training and the chance to achieve a teaching qualification whilst working for the College will be provided.
* Assessor and/or IQA qualifications would be advantageous.
Contract and Location
Location: Hemel Hempstead Campus HP1 1HD
Salary: From GBP 44,362.66 (unqualified) - GBP 48,690.72 (qualified Level 5 teaching and above). Contractual Hours: 37.00. Basis: Full time
