What you’ll be doing
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our store, reporting directly to the regional manager. You will manage a full optician’s team, fostering a culture of collaboration and support. Your leadership will drive our mission to provide exceptional service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead and inspire your team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
2. Manage stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and fully stocked.
3. Implement training and development plans to enhance team performance.
4. Drive community engagement initiatives to strengthen our local presence.
5. Monitor and analyse store performance, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
6. Proven experience in retail management, ideally within the optics sector.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
10. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
It would be great if you also have
11. Experience in the optical industry or a related field.
12. Knowledge of inventory management systems.
13. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.
