Managing departmental resources, including stock and supplies, is part of the role, alongside supporting the Trusts sustainability and financial goals. Education and staff development are integral, as the nurse contributes to the induction and supervision of junior staff and students, fostering a supportive learning environment. They also engage in personal professional development through revalidation and performance reviews. The nurse supports the delivery of services across multiple locations, contributing to staffing and recruitment efforts to maintain safe staffing levels.
