ZG Recruitment is recruiting for a Support Practitioner to work alongside a great established team supporting children aged 8 to 17. This employer offers residential care services and provides comprehensive services, including 24/7 residential care, educational support, mental health support and therapeutic interventions. To address this growing need, this organisation aims to establish children's homes that will provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the overall well-being and development of the children in their care.
What this role requires;
Great engagement with every child you care for.
Complete passion and dedication to the work you carry out, knowing you are making the biggest difference to the childrens lives.
Being able to assist the children in any night time routines and support them if they cannot sleep.
It would be ideal to have some care experience, esp in waking night work.
The ability and commitment to complete a QCF Level 4 in Children and Young People qualification.
Full driving licence.
Job outline;
Responsible for the night supervision of young people at a children’s home providing advice, care and stability for the children and young people ensuring they are treated equally and provided with equal opportunities on a daily basis. Liaising with external agencies, other departments within company, Social Workers and other professionals.
