Contract Delivery Manager – Job Overview
Join our fantastic team as a Contracts Delivery Manager and play a key role in delivering critical overhead network projects up to 132kV. We’re looking for someone with solid experience in 132kV tower lines and proven ability to lead a team of tower line specialists. In this role, you will lead and coordinate trusted external contractors to ensure top‑quality performance and service delivery. You Will
* Monitor contractor work to make sure it’s safe, compliant, and good quality.
* Handle several projects from start to finish, focusing on safety, quality, cost, timing, and process.
* Track daily progress and resources, and keep communication clear with contractors, teams, and stakeholders.
* Keep accurate project records, ensure contractors are trained and authorised, and look after team skills and wellbeing.
* Identify ways to improve, manage budgets efficiently, and take action to boost productivity, cut costs, and keep our customers happy.
* Monitor 132/33KV Tower Painting.
You Have
* Proven experience with 132kV overhead line towers, including hands‑on technical knowledge.
* Strong background in contract partner management and delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
* Good understanding of DNO operations, revenue models, price control frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
* Confident in stakeholder engagement and clear communication at all levels, building trust and collaboration.
* Practical, commercially minded team leader with project delivery experience, IT skills, and the ability to align plans with customer needs.
This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work‑related travel. The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role. A valid driving licence is essential.
