Job Description

The successful candidate will perform the administrative/physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing and tracking of parts, supplies and equipment. This includes managing the kitting, deployment and distribution of inventory necessary to support the Business, accurately picking stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork, and conducting accurate stock checks and cycle counts in accordance with Business Unit policy and SOF best practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Deploying inventory directly to shop floor locations and kanbans/regulators or via kitting operations as required
* Maintaining quality, batch control and traceability of all parts and ensuring the department operates to the quality manual
* Picking and issuing stock parts to the shopfloor as required and updating the system accordingly
* Maintaining and filing all Goods Received Notes and records of receipt
* Adequately packaging all orders for safe delivery to the customer
* Dealing with receipts for indirect purchases
* Performing all operations according to prescribed safety, health and environmental (EHS) principles


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in a Stores environment, highly desirable
* Experience working within a highly regulated industry, ideally Aerospace, highly desirable
* Computer literacy
* Managing Time & Priorities
* Attention to detail
* Ability to follow Business Operations, Systems and Processes
* Customer Orientation
* Flexibility
* Inventory accuracy
* 5S+
* Kitting turnaround time
* EHS
