Job Description:
This leading retailer is looking for a Senior non-food buyer to manage a key category in driving NPD and creating a compelling product range. This is initially on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
• Working closely with the Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to move into new product categories and improve current ranges.
• Managing the day-to-day range development, including sample development and selection.
• Completing sales analysis using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions.
• Sourcing, developing, and growing the product range.
• Defining the pricing and promotional strategy for the category.
• Achieving commercial results in line with category targets, maximising revenue and margin.
• Completing UK and EU travel throughout the year for trade shows, competitive shopping, and supplier visits.
• Liaising with the e-commerce team and consulting on content and photography.
