About The Role
This role involves collaborating with the Product Team and suppliers to craft compelling narratives for new products, developing a content strategy based on deep market insights, supporting sales teams with engaging materials, maintaining key content areas, and leading a Digital Marketing Assistant to encourage professional growth and teamwork.
The objectives of the role will include:
1. Content Marketing Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of target markets, buyer personas, and customer journeys to effectively position our products
2. Propositions: Work with the Product Team and suppliers to create compelling propositions and stories for new products and features
3. Sales Enablement: Create engaging sales materials, case studies, pitch decks, and training resources to support sales teams
4. Content Maintenance: Maintain key content areas, including the website, social media, and product literature
Note: This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 3 days a week in Ewloe.
What You'll Do
Tasks:
* Assist the Head of Marketing Operations in managing content platforms, including the CMS and Content Planner Tool, and implementing the content strategy across all online channels
* Utilize tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush to inform decisions about website content, CRO, and overall content strategy
* Collaborate with Product Owners and Marketing Managers to ensure product and service content is relevant and promotes benefits
* Oversee website content and work with SEO agencies to optimize copy and technical aspects for increased organic traffic
* Lead content initiatives across the business and support content planning and execution
* Plan, research, create, proofread, publish, and measure content performance aligned with target markets and business goals
* Manage the content team's schedule, including project timelines and deliverables
* Use data to drive engagement and conversions
* Lead and develop the Digital Marketing Assistant
Requirements
What we are looking for?
Essential
* 3-5 years in B2B marketing, preferably in IT and Technology sectors
* Relevant marketing qualifications
* Copywriting experience
* Positive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Leadership skills for guiding the digital content team
* Experience in digital publishing, creating, editing, and publishing content
* Knowledge of PowerPoint, WordPress, and Avada is advantageous
* Team player with independent working ability
* Effective cross-departmental communication
* Ability to analyze campaign performance and report success
Desirable
* Experience in B2B digital marketing roles
* Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields
* Skills in SEO, PPC, and email marketing
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Adobe Creative Suite
