Business Development Manager
The Role: Selling a diverse range of engineered fixings & Fastenings, as well as a thread forming solution, this brand-new Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to target any manufacturer who is 'non-automotive' on a national basis. Focusing on predominantly HVAC, White Goods, Electronics, and Medical manufacturers in the UK, the Business Development Manager will have a portfolio of existing accounts & frameworks to get their teeth in to immediately but the main priority is new business development across this market. As such, the Business Development Manager's role is to identify new prospects, set up an approach, and execute the plan over time in order to specify your solutions in to new designs via Engineers at the front-end as well as breaking designs & specifications to try and piggy-back off their existing plans and selling that way.
The Business Development Manager will be very well support here with Customer Services, Marketing, and the wider sales teams all based in the UK. This role will suit someone who has a few years experience selling into the same markets and customer base, who understands how this supply chain works and have the ability to get in front of the right decision makers and stakeholders to influence designs, get onto frameworks, and generate brand awareness in markets where there is significant growth opportunity.

They have invested heavily in their premises in recent years which give them a state of the art manufacturing, training, and sales facility in the North of England. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
7. Have a track record in selling into non-automotive OEM's & Manufacturers
8. Have appreciate for selling on-site, as well as remotely
9. Strong communication and presentation skills
10. Someone looking for a career move, thinking about their longevity in the new role
11. Understands the supply chain in the market - selling to engineers & procurement
12. Activity driven, understand commercials, and can back up figures
13. Full & Clean Driving license
Salary: £50,000 + £3k-5k bonus (with added multipliers) + Car (Hybrid/Electric options) + Pension (6%) + 23 days holiday
