UK applicants only – this role does not offer sponsorship About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teacher to join our team at Meadows View School, part of the Options Autism family. In this role, you will plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with a variety of complex needs. You’ll play a key role in helping young people thrive academically, emotionally, and socially—empowering them to build incredible futures. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering meaningful education in a therapeutic setting. Your approach will be calm, engaging, and adaptable, always focused on supporting each learner to reach their full potential. What We‘re Looking For We’d love to hear from you if you: Have experience teaching in an SEN/SEMH setting or supporting pupils with complex additional needs Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent Can plan and deliver fun, engaging, and differentiated lessons Are confident in using a therapeutic approach and believe in a trauma-informed, person-centred teaching style Are resilient, compassionate, and motivated by helping young people succeed About us Our New Options Autism School is a specialist school
caters for young people aged 5-11 with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. The school has capacity for 25 pupils and is due to open in Easter 2025. For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults.
