Clientis looking for a Principal Generative AI Consultant for a 4 monthremote contract.
We have animmediate need for a SHORT term Principal Generative AIConsultant and Team (3 openings) with experience in thefollowing areas:
The role is aprincipal level leader and relevant team members who havesignificant experience leading strategy and defining operationalstructures to meet organizational goals. For the principal theexperience includes:
Bachelors degree in computerscience Information Technology Business or other related degree orequivalent combination of education and/or experience. Advancedegree (e.g. Masters PhD etc.) desired.
8 years of experience in rolesrelated to strategy transformation technology adoption businessadvisory and/or consulting within IT and business/clinicaloperations.
6 years providing advisoryservices with demonstrated knowledge and ability to navigateGenerative AI and LLM.
Understanding of artificialintelligence technologies and their applications within diversebusiness environments; experience with AI in healthcare stronglypreferred.
Experience with data securitydata privacy and governance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability in leadingsuccessful change management initiatives demonstrating the abilityto navigate organizations through complex transformations.
Demonstrated ability to buildand maintain collaborative relationship with stakeholders atvarious organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability in settingand achieving performance metrics and KPIs with a focus ondelivering tangible and measurable results.
The PrincipalGenerative AI Consultant and Team will workon:
As part of the Generative AITask Force work has identified three areas where we want to engagean external consultant with substantive expertise to makerecommendations based on industry best practices and structure.
1. Strategy:Development of a strategy for generative AI and LLM in thehealthcare setting to ensure we are focused and working toward adefined vision. This work should include without limitation:
An assessment of how generativeAI can be leveraged to advance the Medicine clinical strategic plan
Development of goals and a 3yearroadmap for maturity
A prioritization framework toguide what tools/functionality we pilot
Exploration of partnershipopportunities (e.g. vendor partnerships consortia/collaboratives)
Learnings from and alignmentwith peer institutions and
Consideration of leveragingexternal generative AI tools versus building internal capability todevelop generative AI solutions.
2. Leadership andAccountability: Provide options for an operationalleadership structure accountable for UW Medicines success inGenerative AI and LLM. We envision this work includes:
Comparative analysis oforganizational structures at peer institutions with arecommendation
Assessing the bandwidth neededto support UW Medicines institutional approach to generative AI andits generative AI strategy
Creating clarity around scope ofthe proposed accountability and Recommending a vision for thecollaboration required across UW Medicine and the University.
3.Governance:
Recommending a proposed longtermgovernance structure to oversee institutional approach togenerative AI in the healthcare setting. Such work should take intoconsideration:
Existing governance structuresand how this new structure might fit within replace and/orcomplement what exists today
Avoiding duplication confusionand/or overloading those with key subject matter expertise
Learnings and best practicesfrom peer institutions and the industry generally and
The scope of expertise needed aspart of the governance structure versus ad hoc participation.
