Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will prepare patients for scans, perform diagnostic procedures, and ensure safety and professionalism. Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include:
* Performing radiographic procedures under physician guidance
* Applying isotopes for diagnosis with independence and ingenuity
* Testing inpatients and outpatients
* Using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment
* Administering pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per scope of practice
* Maintaining radiation safety standards
* Checking patient charts and preparing patients for exams
* Operating gamma cameras for scans
Qualifications:
* CPR certification
* State Registered Radiologic Technician
* Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
* Certified NMTCB or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
* 1 year experience preferred but not required
* Ability to complete competencies within probationary period
