Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
* Protecting the warehouse property, assets and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment
* Monitoring and controlling access to the warehouse premises and vehicles
* Enforcing warehouse rules and regulations and handling security violations
* Must be active and energetic person for Patrolling and observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigating and reporting security incidents
* Responding quickly and effectively to any security emergencies or incidents
* Preventing theft, vandalism, fire or other hazards and report security incidents and write detailed reports on daily activities
* Operating security systems and equipment such as cameras, alarms, detectors, etc.
* Implement systems to ensure any unusual movement can be intercepted & reported.
* Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively.
Experience
* Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
* Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
* Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
* Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
