Job Description
As an Economics A Level Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning at Key Stage 5, inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of economic theory and its application to the real world. You will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons, assess student progress effectively, and contribute positively to the wider life of the Sixth Form and school community. You will work collaboratively within a committed department and uphold high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and inclusion.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dedicated and reflective Economics A Level Teacher who:
1. Holds QTS or QTLS
2. Has experience teaching within a UK mainstream secondary school
3. Has a strong subject knowledge of Economics at A Level
4. Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and the ability to motivate and challenge students
5. Is committed to inclusive teaching and supporting students of all abilities
6. Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to departmental development
