* Lead and deliver engaging, fun and inclusive play activities.
* Nurture children and young people to build their confidence, self-esteem and sense of self.
* Create a safe and welcoming space for young people with different needs, including those on the Autism spectrum and other neurodivergent individuals.
Inclusivity and Sensitivity:
* Assist in developing and promoting an autism friendly environment with particular attention to routine, communication strategies and the physical environment.
* Be mindful of sensory sensitivities, communication styles, and social cues.
* Lots of enthusiasm, team spirit and a positive, calm attitude.
Behaviour Management:
* Handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
* Implement strategies to maintain a positive and safe atmosphere.
* Address disruptive behaviour while ensuring everyone feels respected.
Preparation:
* Devise and set up a variety of engaging activities.
* Customise experiences and challenges based on the young person's needs and abilities.
* Work closely with children and young people to ensure they can take part in activities.
* Foster a cooperative and collaborative experience.
* To work closely with parents and carers and promote self advocacy.

£14 - £15 per hour (Based on experience)
