Senior Planner – Havant – Manufacturing – up to £50K We are partnered with a well established manufacturing company based in Havant, part of a global group with a strong reputation in their sector. Following significant investment into their manufacturing operation, they are now looking to bring in a Senior Planner who can take ownership of production planning and help drive improvements across the factory. This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to maintain the status quo, they need someone confident, experienced and comfortable making changes. The job role: what you will be doing * Create and manage weekly production schedules across multiple departments * Review order books and plan production to meet demand * Identify and flag capacity constraints to the wider team * Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available when needed * Manage subcontractor demand and monitor delivery performance * Track production progress and resolve delays proactively * Drive improvements to planning processes and systems * Maintain accurate data within the MRP system About you: what we are looking for To be suitable for the role of Senior Planner, you will ideally have some of the following skills and experience: * Experience in a planning role within manufacturing * Strong Excel and general IT skills * Exposure to MRP systems * Confident communicator who can work across multip...
