As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at Cheltenham Hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC). You have relevant qualifications and experience, including post-registration experience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
You will have excellent clinical skills, a drive to stay current with knowledge, and ensure best practices. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior clinical role.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:
* Work closely with the Theatre Manager and Clinical Leaders to ensure governance and training are maintained
* Demonstrate Nuffield behaviours framework and inspire colleagues
* Ensure the patient perioperative journey is positive, with clinical safety at the core
* Manage a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities
* Collaborate effectively with ward colleagues to ensure continuity of patient care

Located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, with excellent transport links via M5 and A417. The hospital has 33 ensuite bedrooms, 3 theatres, a small ambulatory unit, and a purpose-built observation unit. It offers diagnostic services including X-ray, MRI, CT, mammography, and ultrasound, providing a full range of medical and surgical specialties with state-of-the-art facilities.
