UK Sales and Marketing Director

Mac Recruit Group is seeking a UK Sales and Marketing Director to lead this next chapter. This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven leader with a strong track record of winning new business, opening markets, and delivering revenue growth.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal leadership role with full responsibility for UK revenue performance. You will lead enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and marketing direction, playing a key role in expanding market presence and driving sustainable growth.
A hands-on approach is essential — you will lead from the front in securing major deals while building a high-performing commercial function.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver UK revenue growth, with a focus on new business acquisition
* Develop and execute effective sales strategies across inbound and outbound channels
* Identify, pursue, and close enterprise deals and partnerships
* Build and maintain a strong, self generated sales pipeline
* Lead and develop a high performance, target driven commercial team
Sales & Marketing Leadership
* Coach and support the sales team to consistently exceed targets
* Work closely with sales and marketing leadership team to define KPIs, performance metrics, and targets
* Align sales and marketing activity to drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and conversion
* Ensure effective campaign delivery across digital, content, and outbound channels
* Oversee brand positioning and market presence in the UK and international markets
* Implement structured processes for sales performance, forecasting, and reporting
* Foster a results-driven, high-activity culture focused on winning new business
* Collaborate cross-functionally to support delivery, compliance, and client success
* Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maximise growth opportunities
Key Relationships
* Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, CFO,Financial Controller,Credit Control Manager and Credit Risk Department
Candidate Profile
* 10–15+ years’ experience in senior commercial leadership roles
* Proven track record of winning and closing significant deals
* Strong background in outbound, deal-led sales environments
* Experience leading both sales and marketing functions
* Demonstrated success in building pipeline and growing revenue in new or developing markets
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at senior level
* Sector experience in Financial Services, Credit Insurance, Invoice Finance, Debt Recovery, or Legal preferred
* Highly driven, results-focused, and commercially astute
