As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting package managers and overseeing multiple section engineers while managing site-based duties for the BRF Project. Your primary focus will be on delivering essential safety measures that protect airport colleagues, including resurfacing, lining, safety barrier, and handrail installations. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will work closely with site supervision to ensure works are executed safely, on time, and in accordance with design specifications and stakeholder approvals.
You will be responsible for managing permits, risk assessments (RAMS), quality assurance (QA) procedures, and package delivery. Collaboration with commercial and planning teams is essential to optimise programme delivery, identify risks and opportunities, and maintain budget control. Leading day and night shift activities, you will ensure efficient sequencing and short-term programming aligned with the overall project schedule.
A key part of your role will be to coach and support engineers within your packages, fostering continuous improvement and best practice adoption. You will champion health, safety, sustainability, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of personal safety and wellbeing. Skills:
Proven experience managing site-based engineering teams and package delivery
Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
