Flexible working hours starting and finishing on your driveway, with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime available.
Where You’ll Work
You’ll be part of the Leeds cluster, covering vibrant areas like Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Pudsey, Otley, and Garforth. We organize work locally, allowing you to focus on getting our members back on the road in your community.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* A customer-focused approach that puts our members first.
* A full UK driving licence.
As a Roadside Technician in our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, a tyre change, or complex fault-finding, you’ll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.
Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside. We’ll equip you for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.
