Main Responsibilities Prepare and cook food to a high standard in line with stadium and brand specifications Assist with food preparation before service periods, including portioning, chopping, and stock organisation Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation during busy matchday service Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet high customer demand Follow all food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times Ensure kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas are kept clean and organised Monitor food temperatures and ensure safe food handling procedures are followed Support stock rotation and minimise food waste in line with kitchen procedures Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service Assist with receiving, storing, and replenishing kitchen supplies and ingredients Follow instructions from senior chefs and kitchen management during service Help with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and equipment checks Adapt to varying menus, event requirements, and fluctuating service demands Maintain professionalism and composure during high-pressure matchday operations Ideal Candidate Passionate about food and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment Previous chef, kitchen, catering, or food preparation experience essential Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure during busy matchday periods Strong understanding of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and kitchen safety procedures Team player with good communication and organisational skills Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider kitchen team Able to follow instructions and work to set recipes and presentation standards Comfortable working in a high-volume stadium or event catering environment Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and consistency Ability to adapt quickly to changing service demands and event requirements
