Starting salary- £46,000 to £56,000 depending on qualifications and experience

AlphaPlus is an education service business that specialises in standards, assessment and certification. We help our clients design, develop, deploy and evaluate qualifications and their underpinning assessments. Our work spans the public and private sectors, schools, colleges, vocational and professional learning.AlphaPlus is a member of the AQA group.
The postholder will have a track record of leading whole projects or substantial elements of projects. They will support the leadership and management of projects with particular responsibility for the planning and delivery of large scale and complex projects to our clients, meeting contractual obligations promptly, within budget, and to the agreed quality.
We are seeking candidates with:
* A good understanding of a range of project management tools, techniques, and approaches
* A good standard of numeracy and literacy and fluency with MS Office applications
* Aptitude for adapting to new software and digital services
* Reasonable fluency with MS Project and/or other project management applications
* Experience in managing diverse stakeholders and client relationships in large-scale complex projects.
* Experience in managing large projects with multiple work packages and dependencies.
* Experience in using and applying different project management approaches to different projects.
The following are desirable but not essential:
* Experience in one of the following sectors/fields: education/assessment, change management, project control/governance, PMO/portfolio management.

The post is permanent, full-time working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and is Manchester office-based. The company offers hybrid working (two days per week minimum in the office, with three days working at home). A relocation package is available if appropriate.
