Long-term Teachers are working with a fantastic specialist school based in Westbury that are looking for an experienced LSA to join the team from January. The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities aged 11-19, the environment is school, with only 40 students currently attending. The school are looking for strong support staff from January, ideally on a full-time, long - term basis. Key Responsibilities: Assist the teacher to plan, prepare, and deliver fun and engaging classes. Help provide a nurturing and supportive classroom environment. Support the class teacher wherever necessary, providing regular feedback Collaborate with LSA's, parents, and external stakeholders to promote student welfare and achievement. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events. Requirements: Ideally experience working in a special school Experience working with SEND Strong understanding of the needs of children with SEND Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
