<div><h3>Area Sales Manager - North England (DL/HG/BD/BB/HX/OL/HD/BL/WN/WA/M/SK)</h3><p>Salary: £52k, Uncapped bonus, Car allowance, Employee Assistance Programme, Enhanced holiday + stats (rising with service), and additional benefits.</p><p>Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (35 hours per week)</p><h3>About the role</h3><p>Our client is a globally recognised leader in the lubricants and specialty fluids sector, with a strong international presence and an outstanding reputation for innovation, technical expertise and customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Area Sales Manager to join our Automotive division across Northern England.</p><h3>Key responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Managing and developing existing customer relationships to maximise profitable sales growth</li><li>Identifying and converting new business opportunities across targeted sectors and markets</li><li>Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and understanding customer business needs</li><li>Maintaining a healthy and active sales pipeline to support future growth</li><li>Conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities</li><li>Developing strong product and technical knowledge across the automotive lubricants portfolio</li><li>Increasing market share through consultative and solution-led selling</li></ul><h3>About you</h3><p>We are looking for a driven and commercially astute sales professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.</p><h3>Qualifications and experience</h3><ul><li>A proven track record of achieving sales growth and commercial success</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Experience within the automotive lubricants industry (not essential)</li><li>Exposure to sectors such as Automotive Aftermarket, Franchise Dealers, Commercial Fleet, Agriculture, Construction, Plant or Off-Highway highly advantageous</li><li>Ability to demonstrate success selling technical or high-quality products</li><li>Excellent organisational and time-management skills</li><li>Strong IT, numeracy and administrative skills</li><li>A self-motivated and proactive approach with high resilience and drive</li><li>Candidates from other technical sales backgrounds are also encouraged to apply</li></ul><h3>What’s on offer</h3><ul><li>£52k + Uncapped bonus scheme</li><li>Enhanced holiday entitlement</li><li>Car allowance / EV salary sacrifice scheme</li><li>Defined contribution pension scheme</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working culture</li><li>Discounted private medical cover</li></ul><h3>How to apply</h3><p>If you are a commercially focused sales professional looking to join a market-leading organisation with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.</p></div>
