Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive Primary School in the L4 area of Liverpool on a long‑term basis.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to take an active role within a KS2 classroom, supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, contributing to high‑quality learning experiences and helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where all pupils are supported to reach their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high‑quality classroom support across KS2, working in partnership with the class teacher
2. Deliver targeted small‑group interventions and structured 1:1 support
3. Support learning in reading comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar, and mathematics
4. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support assessment and planning
5. Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
6. Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where required
7. Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources
8. Act as a positive role model, encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence
Essential Requirements
9. Recent and relevant experience working within a primary school setting
10. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent)
11. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and child development
12. A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
13. Confidence working independently and following teacher‑led planning
14. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
