Duties:
* Support the generation of profitable tenders for authorization and submission
* To estimate the costs of projects to meet or exceed customers' requirements
* To determine contractual, financial, technical and operational risks
* Find opportunities to minimize risk and maximize gross profit
* To support the fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximizing gross profit
For the role, they are looking for:
* Experience working for a regional / national contractor as the Estimator
* Be contractually astute
* Have a sound knowledge and be experienced in payment terms, payment notices, contract protocol and matters associated with delays and extensions of time
* Be skilled in subcontract procurement and understand the importance of this process
* Have a very strong teamwork ethos
