What you'll do
As the Assistant Merchandiser Advanced you will take full ownership for budgeting, promotional and clearance markdown, in-season trading and exit decisions and intake and volume plan.
Your key accountabilities will include
* Manage ongoing stock planning
* Provide reporting on supplier performance against KPIs
* Manage promotional and clearance markdown
* Manage in-season and exit trading
* Coordinate stock allocation to stores
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
* Working to at least Assistant Merchandiser level at a major retailer
* Passionate about M&S and the womenswear product range - confident initiating trading actions.
* Technical knowledge of the end to end buy to store process
* Experience of using the relevant IT support systems
* Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills
* Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with Design, Buying and Technology
* Strong communication and influencing skill
