Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £34,000 per annum, you’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:

* Day-to-day you will provide professional, consistent HR advice and coaching to managers on policy and people matters
* Support leaders to manage employee relations casework, ensuring fair, timely and compliant outcomes
* Promote the correct and consistent application of company policies and procedures across site
* Support the HR Manager with the design and delivery of HR‑related training for managers, including absence, performance, disciplinary and recruitment processes
* Maintain accurate HR metrics and reporting, providing clear analysis and insight
* Work effectively with key stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Payroll, L&D and Health & Safety
* Build strong working relationships with customer and internal teams to support operational requirements

What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory role, ideally with a minimum of CIPD level 3
* If you’re from a warehousing or logistics background this would be a huge plus, although we’ll consider applicants from other fast-paced environments
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
* A calm, professional approach with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
* Strong stakeholder management skills with a practical, solution‑focused mindset
