Exciting opportunity for an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to join our WHS team based at our Freshfields office in Carlisle. About the role As Injury Management Coordinator, you will provide leadership and specialist expertise across workers’ compensation, rehabilitation, fitness for work and injury prevention initiatives. Working closely with the Executive and facility leadership teams, you will be responsible for proactively managing claims to finalisation while driving continuous improvement in injury management practices. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end management of workers’ compensation claims Coordination of return-to-work and suitable duties programs Advice and support to leaders and staff on injury management and fitness for work Coordinate and manage the organisations Early Intervention Program Liaison with Insurers, Brokers, WorkCover and treating practitioners Oversight of manual handling and injury prevention programs Injury data analysis, reporting and Executive updates What you’ll bring Demonstrated experience in injury management and workers’ compensation case management within a complex or multi-site environment. Aged care experience is ideal but not essential Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation, return to work frameworks and fitness for work principles Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with workers, managers, insurers and clinicians Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities concurrently Sound judgement, initiative and a solutions-focused approach to supporting people through complex matters Relevant tertiary qualifications, e.g. injury management, insurance management. Demonstrated experience in case management or workers’ compensation Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites as required Full Australian work rights and willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and influenza vaccinations.
