Responsibilities
While specific duties may vary based on Tesco's needs, key responsibilities include:
1. Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
2. Resolving customer complaints and informing the Café Manager.
3. Maintaining food freshness through FIFO stock rotation.
4. Following food safety and hygiene regulations and keeping records.
5. Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
6. Adhering to operational policies and procedures.
7. Clearing and sanitising tables to keep the café clean.
8. Ensuring standards and product availability.
9. Staying informed about business updates and initiatives.
10. Knowing the menu inside out and serving food as intended.
11. Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
