About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Management Accountant to join a busy and fast-paced accounts team within an international organisation operating across the UK, Ireland and Europe. This is based in beautiful offices, with good facilities and parking. There is no remote working available.
Key Responsibilities
As a Management Accountant, you will support financial operations across multiple regions and subsidiaries, with responsibilities including:
* Operational, regional and sector financial analysis
* Producing statutory accounts for Italian subsidiaries
* Assisting with consolidated year-end statutory accounts
* Preparing quarterly management accounts and bank packs
* Assisting with monthly management accounts
* Overseeing fabrication costs and maintaining the product register
* Maintaining the fixed asset register
* Preparing prepayments and accruals
* Reconciling balance sheet accounts
* Bookkeeping for Italian subsidiaries
* Reviewing bank and revenue reconciliations
* Reviewing inter-company transactions
* Conducting variance analysis and reporting
* Supporting year-end audits
* KPI reporting
* Ad-hoc financial reporting as required
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
* Have significant experience within large organisations, ideally a group of companies with multi-entity structures
* Be confident working across complex financial environments with diverse regional operations
* Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
* Be flexible and willing to support the wider accounts team, including covering leave and helping to meet tight deadlines
