Location: Milton Keynes – Mainstream Primary School
Start Date: 6th October 2025
End Date: 19th December 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We’re recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a Year 2 class at a mainstream primary school in Milton Keynes.
✨ Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with SEMH needs
2. Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities
3. Helping to develop pupils’ social and emotional skills
4. Working closely with the school’s SENCo to deliver personalised support plans
This is a full-time, temporary role running from 6th October until 19th December 2025.

✅ Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
5. Proven SEN and SEMH experience (essential)
6. Experience supporting children within a UK primary school setting
7. A positive, patient and nurturing approach to supporting children’s needs
8. Strong communication and behaviour management skills
9. Full-time availability from 6th October – 19th December 2025
