Earnings with sleeps: £34,175 - £37,700 based on 10 sleep ins per month

Shift Pattern: 1 shift on, 2 shifts off

Haven House is a 4 bedded children’s home providing medium to long term placements, within a safe, stable and consistent living environment.
About the role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will be working shifts to care for the young people who reside in the home, nurturing and supporting their development following a therapeutic model of care. As a senior, you will take a lead on shifts and support another member of staff.
No two days will be the same supporting young people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, taking Young People out to appointments/meetings, managing challenging behaviours, or even sitting and watching TV with the Young People.
We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the young people feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be inducted by our industry leading, award winning learning & development team, and guided in your role by more senior staff members, including psychologists/therapy team to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the young people in your care towards positive futures.
Experience of working in a residential home for children is essential for the role (minimum of 12 months experience) having a relevant qualification is advantageous, although not essential.
